"Singing is my life... and I love it" - Suzie
Suzie Marun is an outstanding singer having begun her formal voice training at the tender age of 5 years. Her trainer was Susan Magee!
It is Suzie's voice tone that distinguishes her from other female vocals. She has that special gift of a clear, crisp, high voice that sounds like Walt Disney's Ariel in The Little Mermaid.
Suzie continues to be involved in several music groups, singing different styles including "oldies" and show tunes from musicals and motion picture shows.
In her 5th year of school, Suzie joined the group, Most Wanted; a Country style act of several girls. This music act won regional and state singing competitions.
Suzie has always joined her school and church choirs, and has performed in many talent shows as well as other special events. School and church programs have allowed her to get lots of theatre experience.
Since 2004, she has been studying voice development under the leadership of Katy Lundeen, and participates in the Village Youth Ensemble directed by Mrs. Lundeen.
Suzie is also a lead vocalist for the contemporary worship band at the Village Church in Rancho Santa Fe.
